I'm coming back just for the pasta. I went here on my birthday a couple of years ago and got the steak which was also good but the pasta is making me return. The service was excellent, the ambiance is relaxing, classy, grown and sexy. Oh yeah the lobster crab cake is good too, but that pasta, chefs kiss.

Great food, great location and ambiance in historic downtown Long Beach. My wife and I were in town and went to La Traviata for dinner. We felt very taken care of and special as we sat down for an amazing dinner. The food was delicious from the Charcuterie Board to the Linguini Mare and the La Traviata Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was the most perfect and generous cut we've ever had. I also loved the Opus drink from the bar - which is the perfect spot for after-dinner drinks while enjoying the neighborhood views of the historic church and community outside. We'll make La Traviata a regular special dinner spot whenever we come back out to Long Beach.

The Food is fabulous! One of my favorite places. Also, have a great banquet room w/ full bar for those who have big parties!

The Chilean sea bass was the best fish I've ever had. Service was excellent, the interior was beautiful. Very nice restaurant, definitely will be back!

Great place ! It was our first time there even though we have lived in the neighborhood for a few years . From the minute we stepped in , it was a homey feel . Our waitress Coco was personable and friendly . She offered great recommendations and waited on us in a timely manner . Service was top notch and food was delicious . We ordered the bolognese and lasagna. Filling and delicious . Love the fact that the owner came out to see how we were doing . That made us feel as if we are a part of the ambience instead of just visiting . Cant wait to come back and bring our family memebers with us !

Dined here tonight with a friend and loved it! Parking is typical Long Beach- but I found parking on a Friday evening and it's free after 6 PM. The place itself is cute and charming. Service was great also. Our waitresses recommend a great wine! Calamari was too thick for my liking but loved my pasta and the bread!! To die. Ended with the tiramisu which was not my favorite. As someone who just came back from Italy, I'm a complete snob about tiramisus now. Live music also was a great touch! Would recommend :)

I was invited here for a Christmas party. My cousin was throwing. I love the bar and how much excitement. It brought to the restaurant. We had a private dining area and our own bartender. The meal for the evening was served family style. The entries included meat lasagna, a vegetarian lasagna, spicy pene pasta and a chicken Alfredo. What I really enjoyed the most was the Caesar salad, which was freshly made with anchovies. This classic salad is rarely made like this any more. The serving staff did great and all of our food was delivered in good time. The owner Mario is delightful and I definitely want visit again soon.

I came here on a whim for dinner because I wanted to eat out and was craving some Italian food; here's what I got: - Fried artichoke: Crispy, but not oily, and paired well with the salad. - Pasta primavera: Hearty portion, delicious flavours. Love the balance of the capers and olives with the other veggies. Pasta was cooked al dente. I'm keen to - Grandmother Cake: Pastry cream with a hint of lemon on a base of short pastry, covered with pine nuts almonds and powdered sugar. $11 Love the lemon-y-nes of it, but did not like the red sauce - maybe it was cherry? Certainly could have done without it. I got to sit outside; thankfully, they still have outdoor seating from the start of COVID-19. The interiors weren't too busy, but I preferred the outside for fresh air. I walked here, but if you're looking to park, you might get lucky wtih street parking, but more often than not, you may have to circle around a bit to find nearby parking. I believe I had a moment to chat with the owner, who is very friendly and let me know that they'll be opening up their take-out store too very soon with the prices about 50% off from the sit-down prices. That's super excited to hear! The service was good, with accommodating servers who were helpful and friendly when I had questions about menu items/recommendations. The ambiance is semi-formal, with the inside seating being a bit more upscale than the outside one. Either way, there's music playing. If you like wine, they have a wide selection to pick from.
